The Poetry Room open mic is fast paced, easily accessible, entertaining, and is unlike any other poetry open mic you may attend. It’s goals is to build community, and give voice to a diverse group of blossoming poets and musicians while becoming Lansing’s mecca for major talent.

Currently, our events are a bit scattered. Covid has made things really slippery but we want to do more events. We are hoping to bring in Gigi Bella, a super dope poet and friend. If you are able to donate, it would be much appreciated so we can keep costs lows.
